The upper Ticino valley’s nature and history make a circuit route spectacular.
On historic routes and the Ipposidra, a historic horse railroad designed by Carlo Cattaneo,
the route passes through some of the most beautiful pine woods and moorland,
past historic sites from various eras from prehistory to recent times.
A sequence of protected areas and sites on an approx 25-km-long circuit route with no special challenges.
