Woodland, Rivers and Marshes

From Bernate across moraine hills to River Ticino, passing Torrente Strona and Bosco del Vigano, a spectacular pine forest with a natural erratic boulder.
From here, the route continues down the Piedmont side and then up to the Lombardy side via Tornavento, known as the most beautiful village in the province.
On the way back, it passes through the spectacular Piana di Vegonno high land area, back to the starting point.
