Il Sacro Monte di Varese
A UNESCO heritage site, Sacro Monte is one of the Varese area’s most important historical and artistic sites. In July 2003 it was made UNESCO world heritage site, together with a further eight sites as the Sacri Monti del Piemonte e della Lombardia cultural landscape.
