As the birthplace and - since 1983 - an art gallery housing work by Innocente Salvini (Cocquio Trevisago 1889-1979), this mill-museum is a rare example of seventeenth century industrial archaeology, featuring the ruins of an ancient medieval tower, as well as two wheels and a series of fully-functioning gears powered by the waters of the nearby Viganella river.
