Mount S. Giacomo, the Highest Point in the Ticino Park

The highest point in the Ticino Park.
From Parco Berrini di Ternate on Lake Comabbio to the village of Cuirone on gravel roads as far as lake Comabbio.
It then climbs back up to the peak of Mount S. Giacomo , the highest point in Ticino Park.
The challenging descent crosses some of the park’s most attractive conifer and chestnut forests.
At the end of the path a short uphill takes us to Mount Ferrera and a further high-thrill descent to the south of the town, a much loved FAI site.
