Through the History of the Olona Valley

From one of the largest towns in Varesotto, Castellanza, to one of its most attractive villages,Castiglione Olona, and back again. This is the route taken by the Olona Valley cycle track which follows the river of the same name and sections of the historic Valmorea railway. En route it passes the Lombard Monastero di Torba UNESCO site, the Middle Olona Park and the Rile Tenore Olona Park. The route is, once again, a Varesotto journey through history and nature at their absolute best for a family day out or as part of a much longer tour.
